Sermons :)

Okay.   So I like to listen to sermons to practice to.   I thought I would just list on here some good places to find them, if you’re so inclined. 🙂

Times Square Church — Sermons   The sermon I’ve listened to most recently is from this place.  “Hearing the Voice of the Lord” by Carter Conlon.   I have listened to it twice, it’s that good.   It leaves me wanting to go spend time with the Lord, and I think that’s a pretty good indication that the Spirit is speaking through them.

OnePlace    The mother of all listening places!   You know all the people that talk  on the radio?  You can find them here!  I like “Desiring God” and “Walk in the Word”.  Those have both been blessings to me.

RPCNA World sermons    Sermons from around the world, from pastors in our denomination (which would be Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America, hence RPCNA 🙂 )

So anyways….those places have been blessings to me, and I hope they will be a blessing to you!

Psalm 29   (I love this Psalm!  Especially to sing it!)

 1 Give unto the LORD, O you mighty ones,
         Give unto the LORD glory and strength.
 2 Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name;
         Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
 3 The voice of the LORD is over the waters;
         The God of glory thunders;
         The LORD is over many waters.
 4 The voice of the LORD is powerful;
         The voice of the LORD is full of majesty.
 5 The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars,
         Yes, the LORD splinters the cedars of Lebanon.
 6 He makes them also skip like a calf,
         Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild ox.
 7 The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire.
 8 The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness;
         The LORD shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh.
 9 The voice of the LORD makes the deer give birth,
         And strips the forests bare;
         And in His temple everyone says, “Glory!”
 10 The LORD sat enthroned at the Flood,
         And the LORD sits as King forever.
 11 The LORD will give strength to His people;
         The LORD will bless His people with peace.

  1. Thanks for the links! How is Ezra?

  2. Alaina,

    Thank you so much for asking! 🙂 The poor little guy has had a rough week of it … He had to go in for emergency surgery the day after his open heart surgery.. and then his kidneys weren’t working. But I got an update today that he is peeing (praise the Lord) so he’s getting better …slowly .. but he is getting better, so please continue to pray.

  3. Thanks for this post. I too enjoy Carter Conlon and have even met him while attending Times Square Church on several visits.
